Cathryn and Becky: Becky liked this one better. I liked the other one. It’s cheap to put them both up :-) (CC) Randy Stewart, blog.stewtopia.com. Feel free to use this picture. Sign in Muni Underground: Ok, I haven’t lived in San Francisco in a few years, but I’m back here every couple of weeks, so I spend a a fair bit of time on Muni. I noticed this sign for the first time last night and spent quite a bit of time studying it to figure out when the next N was going to arrive and while I did figure it out, it wasn’t easy. I spend most of my time trying to create easy to use, decently designed products and in San Francisco, clearly, I’m not alone. My question to the city of San Francisco, how the hell in a city of so many good designers was this signage allowed to be shipped? Seriously. If I can’t figure out a sign in less than 30 seconds, you’ve failed. Massive FAIL. (CC) Randy Stewart, blog.stewtopia.com. Feel free to use this picture. Please credit as shown.
